Gas detector testing

Sira provides a comprehensive testing service for a wide range of gas detection equipment. Our laboratory has the following capability:

Climatic testing

Sira has the facilities and experience necessary for conducting climatic (temperature and/or humidity) testing. We are able to supply input signals and measure outputs to verify that instruments operate correctly over a range of environmental conditions. Tests can be applied to almost any type of sample, from plastic bottles to instrumentation intended for use onboard ships.

Our laboratory has the following capabilities:

  • Temperature (constant and cyclic) over the range -60°C to +180°C
  • Humidity (constant and cyclic) 20 to 98% rh over the temperature range +20°C to +90°C
