Sira Certification Service is based at Sira Environmental in Kent, and at Sira Test & Certification in Chester. The service is administered by a Board of Directors with specialist Certification Managers for each major area of business. The service is overseen by independent Impartiality Committees whose members provide a balance of relevant interests, with no single interest predominating. Members of the Impartiality Committees include the Environment Agency, Source Testing Association, Water Monitoring Association, Water Research Centre, Council for Gas Detection and Environmental Monitoring, The Association of British Mining Equipment Companies, Engineering Equipment & Materials Users' Association, GAMBICA and the International Instrumentation Users' Association.
